“As an independent female director, I love going beyond the unseen in cinema. Telling unconventional stories, breaking the rules, and offering the audience a different perspective is my greatest thrill. In each of my films, I aim to make a difference by expressing my own voice and unique style. I enjoy using metaphors to add multiple layers of meaning and offer the audience different interpretations. I see cinema not just as a medium of expression, but as a space where people find their reflection and find freedom."

ON THE ROAD (YOL ARASINDA)

The film I wrote and directed, Yol Arasında (On the Road), which premiered in 2024, is actually the first film in a trilogy, yet it tells a story that takes place at the end of the narrative. The second film in the series, Yol Arasında: Karanlık ve Aydınlığın Doğuşu (On the Road: The Birth of Darkness and Light), is structured around a narrative rooted in origins and the past, answering all the questions and metaphors left unresolved in the first film. Thus, although Yol Arasında is the first step in the trilogy, it actually represents the final chapter.

MASK and DANCE

This project was prepared as a team effort. I am the actor in the film. The idea and concept of the film are mine, while my groupmates prepared the animations in the film.

Experimental 2D Short Film – TOUCH

“TOUCH” is an experimental animation that depicts the moment when souls touch each other through geometric forms. The triangle, square, and circle symbolize the sharpness, resistance, and flow of touch. Each time the object makes contact, it changes shape, sometimes approaching, sometimes retreating—just as souls fear touching each other yet still gravitate toward one another.

Inspired by different shades of green, the film explores the connection between balance in nature and spiritual contact through an intuitive language.

Experimental Short Film - The Story of a Shadow

Filmed with real shots, “A Shadow Story” tells the silent resistance of a being lost in light. The tripod-less, shaky camera reflects the inner instability of the human being, mirroring the vibrations of the space in which they are trapped. In the reflection of the yellow wall light and white marble, the shadow becomes less a trace of a body and more a trace of a feeling. “A Shadow Story” is a brief tale of making the invisible visible, of existing by disappearing.
